It was a quick drive from the airport and had everything that you needed for a stay after a long flight, including pick up in the early hours of the morning.

The planes fly right over the property but that is due to its close location to the airport

Everything was great. They offer a free shuttle service from/to the airport no matter the time. Very close to tuktuk rental negombo office

In the shower, the hot water is seperated from the cold water, so it was a bit complicated to take a warm shower

Yes, I stay here during a layover at Colombo Airport. And I have to say it is one of the best regarding affordability and comfort. Although it's not the best room, the drive from the airport is only 5 minutes away, and the communication with the hotel was great. We texted the driver, and then he showed up 20 minutes later. They included a Way airport transfer, and we had to pay for the return, but it is very affordable, and they accepted USD, which is a must for me. They have a viewing terrace where you can relax, drink or just watch the airplanes. The hotel is near many shops and restaurants.

It's far from downtown Colombo. And is not the fanciest area, although it's safe.

Great place, nice hosts, large room. Loved the take away breakfast and the free airport drop off facility they provided on the morning of the checkout.

Not a complaint - but the way the deluxe room was described during my chat with the host gave an impression that the room has great Lagoon view, so I upgraded my room to Deluxe on host's suggestion. But the deluxe room lagoon view is still very limited. You have to go to the Terrace to get a good view. Nonetheless, it's a huge, clean room with all amenities, so overall satisfied at the end.
