Close Enough

Large enough to accommodate our whole family. Plenty of room so that no one felt crowded. The kitchen was stocked with the essential items needed to prepare any meals we wanted to make instead of eating out. The proximity to the beach was excellent and truly what made us not hate the stay.

The property had a major electrical problem throughout our stay. If we washed or dried any laundry, it made the lights flash in a strobe light fashion. One room threw a breaker when my husband plugged up his computer because there wasn’t enough power to carry it and my small desk fan that was plugged up beside the bed. The air conditioning was also not balanced properly because one room stayed significantly warmer than the others but the thermostat was locked as to not allow guests to turn the air below 70 which made the stay uncomfortable for the family in that room. Numerous furniture pieces were worn out and not sufficient in a home that rented for over $5k. One of the showers had a handle that was not properly attached so it fell off in our hands from the first use. One of the lower cabinet doors in the kitchen was not attached so it was a constant battle to keep the toddlers out of it.
