Casa Pertosa

The room was great, good facilities, good variety at breakfast. & quiet. Gorgeous views from the patio. Close to town for meals but away from the noise & bustle. Good recommendations for restaurants. Taormina is a beautiful town & I wish we'd had more time there.

No parking, but we were able to arrange valet parking for the car.

Cute, private terrace attached to my room and lovely sea view. Aircon worked well and was quiet.

Location not ideal as it is a solid 15 minute walk from town on a narrow street. Note that taxis to / from here are nearly impossible to get. Plus, you have to be dropped off on the street above as B&B front door is not accessible by car; only foot and down steep stairs. If you have heavy luggage it’s inconvenient. Continental breakfast below average. Two of the four mornings boiled eggs were gone and not replenished. Some of the fruit on buffet looked like it came from a can!? Greasy deli meats and weird cheese. Surprising as the area is known for its fresh food & beautiful produce. My room was decent size, but had zero charm: it was very spartan / bare; no art on walls, old furniture. Pillows too firm. Rickety chairs. One tiny bottle of cheap body wash in bathroom — good thing I brought my own toiletries. Tiny shower stall (and I’m not a big person). Thin bath towels. Noise in the mornings — Could hear other guests in hallways chatting. Didn’t use the pool as no pool towels?? For $175USD per night I expected a lot more. Taormina overall is extremely touristy and expensive. I’d never return. Just not my kinda place nor vibe. Host was pleasant and answered questions promptly, provided directions to nearby attractions.

Fantastiskt rum och helt ok frukost

Dålig information, fanns inge karta eller nåt att få. fanns bara en personal som inte kunde hjälpa oss med frågor om t ex bussar etc och det berodde på att hon inte kunde engelska. Inga dricksglas på rummet. Vi fick dricka vin ur kaffekopparna! Poolen vara bara öppen mellan 9:30-17:30, vi t ex älskar att ta ett morgondopp innan frukost. Ingen dusch el toalett vid poolen. Vi åkte hem sent på em och det fanns inte möjlighet att låna nån dusch innan hemfärd, fanns inte ens toalett att låna, vi fick byta om från badkläder i princip i entrén. ”Personalen” fanns inte tillgänglig på boendet mer än på morgonen vid frukosten. Fanns ingen ”riktig ” reception. Hade önskat en poolbar. Boendet var lite ”väl” lugnt…

Nice quiet neighbourhood in a great location short walk to the main town.

Personale molto educato, disponibile e gentile. Accesso alla piscina molto apprezzato. Camera molto grande e con tutto il necessario per il soggiorno, come ad esempio la presenza di frigo funzionante. Ottimo anche il servizio di parcheggio: vengono a prendere la macchina e te la riportano ogni volta che se ne ha necessità. Centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Pertosa, the property is in a quiet location about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Taormina. Nice quiet pool area and the views from our balcony were amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Feels like I'm being really picky, but the only thing I can think of is that there weren't any glasses in the room for water. There were 2 paper cups in the room on arrival. I had left one out to use again, but it was thrown away and not replaced.
