Zia Homestay

Very nice staff, lots of recommendations. It’s worth going up in the north of Siargao! It was also nice to have a clean equipped kitchen area.

We had such a lovely stay at Zia Homestay! Our initial room had a small issue, so the host offered to upgrade us to another room, which turned out to be a full size apartment! Absolutely amazing customer service. Besides that the lady was so friendly. I wouldn't call the accomodation luxury, but it has everything you need as a backpacker. Comfy bed, it's reasonably clean, hot shower, AC, well equipped kitchen area etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The facilities are everything you need and the kitchen is very practical handy. We stayed for a few weeks and got moved into the apartment as Ate Jhing wanted us to be more comfortable. The fellow guests were all really friendly and the atmosphere was really good. Ate Jhing is the best part of the whole experience, she is so charming, friendly and inspiring. She puts her heart into the homestay and you can really feel it

Good location in North Siargao, and great value for money

Very noisy in the night with roosters, dogs, traffic and neighbours.

Excellent budget stay. Jean is extremely friendly and helpful and available, she gave us lots of tips for things to do around and checked in on us. We booked our airport tuktuk through the stay, as well. The property is extremely clean, well maintained and kept. Has a beautiful garden and well equipped, communal kitchen. There’s also more lounge areas upstairs. We had a great stay, Burgos is wonderful and away from the business of General Luna and more authentic than Pacifico beach area. Some good food options, surf, bike rentals and beaches around. Getting to know some of the local kids was a highlight! Highly recommend.

Super friendly and helpful staff! We stayed here during the town fiesta and were welcomed to join for a meal in the owner’s home.

The host and her family was very friendly and the homestay had a lovely homey feeling. There was always cold water available and there were even snacks you could help yourself to! Burgos is also a beautiful town in the North that is quiet enough for a relaxing getaway but also has a few cute places to eat and relax too.

Our best stay so far in the Philippines. The host is simply wonderful and so helpful. Very clean rooms, the sheets and towels smelt beautiful. Great facilities and location, about a 2min walk to the beach. You’ll be missing out if you don’t stay here!
