The view is stunning, the whole place feels plush and high end. The hottub was perfect, and the bed was the comfiest!

The location is amazing, very spacious, the price is worthy.

There was stains on the bed linens. I would recommend bringing your own bed linens sheets and slippers as there is bo slippers available there.

beautiful cabin, totally relaxing, well equipped and in a great location. The views are amazing and the hot tub fantastic! We cooked each evening, the kitchen all works well and the supermarket in Selfoss was an easy stop before arriving at the cabin. It’s cozy, romantic and a pretty special place

Just two points, which definitely didn’t spoil our stay but could perhaps be sorted some way to make it even better. The blinds are not adequate as they only cover the bottom half of the windows - fine in the dark months but not good in the summer when it really doesn’t get dark at all. Yes, there are eye masks available but they’re small, uncomfortable and don’t keep the light out properly. When you wake in the morning the first thing you’ll want to do is raise the blinds to look at the amazing views but at night most will probably need darkness to feel tired. The shower is lovely..great water pressure but unfortunately leaks (clearly this has been ongoing for some time by the looks of the wooden floor) it’s a simple fix job to grout the inside of the cubical which would sort it out. Otherwise the towels are needed to mop up the pools of water each time. Again, definitely didn’t spoil our stay, just seems a shame for the floor to be getting damaged by lack of a simple fix.

A stunning cabin in a beautiful location, the property is finished to a very high standard. The views were unbelievable. We felt very remote but it’s actually conveniently located only 20 minutes from Selfoss, which is a beautiful little town.

This was an amazing place to stay but it lacked a few home comforts such as kitchen tea towels, a little starter pack of kitchen products etc. It would also be good to have some extra towels for the hot spring. We were snowed in whilst we were there so a shovel on-site would have been a major help. There was also a couple of issues with the facilities, the fireplace didn’t really work and the shower leaks into the bedroom. BUT, still an amazing place to stay and these did not detract from the experience… with a couple of tweaks it could be perfect!
