We were self catering ,it was a quiet location but in easy reach of the town to walk into . We had a sunny garden with tables and chairs which was lovely . Downstairs toilet ,again very useful especially as we had small children . A lovely Irish welcome pack on arrival and fresh flowers which was a lovely touch . We felt the location was really good as it was in a cul-de -sac and quiet and safe .

The kitchen was not that well equipped,needed more saucepans and utensils as we do like to do a lot of cooking from scratch . We also had trouble with the hot water in the showers ,but to be fair the host did try to sort it for us . The boiler system was confusing as the radiators kept coming on when we wanted hot water ? Could have been cleaner ,light fittings very dusty and skirting boards etc but maybe we were to fussy 😂

The house had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The beds were extremely comfortable & the patio area was beautiful! Tom was a wonderful host & very responsive. Perfect for a multigenerational trip to visit relatives in the area. It was a quick walk to the town, 2 supermarkets & restaurants.

"Fabulous house"

The house was well appointed. 3 spacious double bedrooms 2 on the first floor and 1 on the second and 1 single also on the first floor. 2 of the doubles were ensuite and all 3 were equipped with fabulous showers. The kitchen was spacious and made for great communal catch ups. All the beds were very comfortable. No complaints from any of us. The outside area had plenty of seats, very welcome in the ferocious heat. Delighted with all the toiletries too, lovely white stuff products. Exceptional towels very very good quality!

Very minor points that are easily fixed, the top bedroom skylights need cleaning round the openings between stays. A chair would be useful in that room too. Wastepaper baskets could be added to the bedrooms. In all honesty these are so minor and personal to each individual. Without these changes it's still a solid 10 out of 10.
