GBWhat a find! An outstanding Homestay with hosts that couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely room which had a balcony and 180 degree views across Coonoor and the surrounding mountains - and the sunset of course. Food was great and we certainly couldn’t have gone hungry. All in all, a great welcome and we’d have loved to have stayed longer.
INWhat makes a place are the people there. From the owners to the staff (Deepu and Poornima), all were very caring and hospitable. It was really like being at home - helped by the fact that we were for the most part the only guests there. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed and so too did the owners. The location was great - close to the town, yet far enough way. The food was superb and any help needed, for example, getting a driver, was met. Wished we could have stayed much longer.
Everything was almost perfect. Perhaps a chair or two in the room.

INThe place is 10 min drive from Conoor town. Very calm and quiet location surrounded by scenery. No city disturbances. 1. Room was clean, spacious with one king bed and kids bed, TV, wardrobe, kettle toiletries, and a fan. 2. Balcony is there but it is closed with mosquito net 3. Hospitality by the owner and care taker staff was excellent. 4. The villa has 4 rooms. One on the first floor and 3 on the 2nd floor. 5.
If the balcony was open, the night view could have been fat better
INReally enjoyed our stay at Sunset villa. The property owner Mrs.Annie and her son Prashanth manage the property very well. The food was delicious and the place was very clean and tidy. Totally recommend this place.
