peccato in ristrutturazione, la cura del verde esterno da migliorare. Il vero problema è stato che non avevamo l'auto e non siamo stati avvisati che il loro cuoco la cucina era chiusa e siamo stati obbligati a fare oltre 1 km per andare a cena

Exceptional experience. Very welcoming and remote. A true Yurt experience. A longer review here to help anyone looking to book understand, especially if they don't speak the language or Russian. It was an amazing place to stay, the family are so kind and helpful. Everything is translated via their phone but will help with everything. Airport pick up was organised via them and super easy, waiting on arrival. Breakfast is large, fresh and changed daily. There are 3 nearby (10-15 min walk) restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the one 10 mins up the road, nice views, great bar. To reach the hikes is about 30 mins up hill and then you reach stunning scenery surrounded by horses, the river and the mountains. It's Exceptional! I recommend you hike for 2 days, one on each side. 2-3 nights is perfect. It is VERY remote so I recommend you bring snacks/drinks/games etc. They have a well stocked mini bar but from what we found there is only one small shop about 30 min walk (near the hiking start point).

The welcome was kind, the breakfast was good, the yurts were clean even though the condition of the yurts was already lacking, e.g. toilet paper holder broken, wall paper came off, water stains etc

The hosts didn’t speak any English and communicated wholly through Google translate. Furthermore, they were really hard to get ahold off, after having served breakfast they disappeared. When we asked what activities could be planned in the area they just said „there is a pool or a waterfall 2h from here“. We also asked where we could grab dinner and were told to either walk 10 min up or down the street, however that evening we saw that the neighbouring yurt got room service delivered, cooked by them. When the day of our checkout came, we asked whether they could order us a taxi (the Yandex to the yurt camp cost us around 1000c) - they answered that yandex wouldn’t operate this far outside the city and that transfer was 3000c. I repeatedly asked them to please call a taxi because we had to get back to Bishkek. After waiting for roughly 40 minutes, a car waited for us. It turned out that it was indeed not a taxi service but someone from the yurt camp who then drove us back to the city and charged us 3000c. As we had explicitly asked for a TAXI we now felt as if the owners took advantage of us and our situation. During the transfer the owner told us that he already got bored of the place and is working on a new business idea higher up in the mountains - that sentiment describes our whole experience at RAHMAT yurts and also the fact that the whole property is only „half“ done, with many unattended construction sites on the land. We do not recommend. It’s not value for money - but rather expensive for an ok experience.

Location is good. Yurt itself is beautuful and well designed. But that open window on the roof ruins everything. You cannot block sun and it is too hot to stay during the day. After a long trip we had to get some rest but that was impossible

We had a great stay at Rahmat yurts thanks in large part to the friendly, professional, and accommodating management. Rahmat is the perfect option for people looking to hike to the Alamedin Waterfall. The yurts are a great mix of comfort and traditional aesthetic at a great value. This is the best option in Alamedin area.
