The views spectacular, the pool was wonderful, the room very comfortable

Wow – what an incredible experience! Villa del Sole was truly fantastic in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed by the owners – they are incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely care about making your stay perfect. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. So clean, so comfortable – we felt right at home. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or watching the sunset, the scenery was just magical. The owners live on the property, but this was absolutely no problem at all – in fact, it made the experience even better. They were always friendly and available if needed, but also gave us complete freedom and privacy. It felt cozy and relaxed, never intrusive – just genuinely welcoming. In one word: amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly, highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back! Love, Christa en Stephanie

Beautifully decorated and comfortable suites, it was so nice to have so much space compared to some of the cramped rooms we have been in Italy. Everything has been so thoughtfully laid out, lots of room to hang clothes, a little bar stool seating area in the kitchen and a little couch. There is a nice little kitchenette, there’s a couple of pans and cutlery and things - enough to make pasta and breakfast but nothing too elaborate. The owner Giancarlo lives on the property and made us very welcome. The pool and views were beautiful. As other reviews mentioned the hill is no joke, it’s a solid 15 minute climb (mostly up some cliffside stairs) so recommend a car and it’s a bit away from the town so you’ll need to go into town for food and things.

The TV smart connection doesn’t really work for Netflix etc so would recommend bringing a hdmi cable to watch things if you’re stuck indoors if the weather is bad.

Amazing panoramic views and if you’re up early enough you can see a stunning sun rise over the sea, very clean & modern apartments.

Although close to the town, the walk is difficult up a very steep hill and through back roads, we felt uneasy at night walking here too as it gets very dark around the wooded area. It is better to have a car/moped if staying at this property. The owner Jeancarlo lives on site and we got strange vibes from him. We understand the language barrier can be difficult, but a smile wouldn’t go a miss :) also no communication at all at check out. In my opinion, “suites” is a little misleading, these are small self contained apartments, no servicing etc. Air con only had one setting. No mirror in the room. Only a bathroom one, difficult for more than two persons.

‘Suites’ is very misleading, basically just a hotel room. Pool has no privacy, the owner lives right there, observing clients. Advertised having TV, there is service provided. Owner not friendly. Did not provide water or coffee until we asked.

Location of actual property which is down a very very steep hill. Kitchen was small and not greatly equipped. Tania made us feel very welcome, however Giancarlo made us feel on edge and is if we were encroaching on his family space

It’s a beautiful property finished to a high standard with amazing views and a great swimming pool in a nice secluded location. The host was welcoming and accommodating.

The kitchen could be better equipped with a few more items and a microwave. Also I wish there was a mirror in the room. A couple of downsides of the property’s location is that the walk to the town centre is short but up a very steep hill, so if you are not very fit, you would need a car. The houses is near a wooded area, so there are mosquitoes.

The sea views from the apartment were absolutely beautiful! The sea salt swimming pool was amazing! We spent lots of time there and felt like we had it to ourselves, even though there were two other apartments occupied. The apartment itself was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and really accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, in between the town and the beach. We'd definitely stay here again if ever back in Taormina!

The walk uphill into town was fine for us, but if not accessible to all then a short taxi journey into town would be required. We enjoyed the downhill walk to the beach, or you could walk up to the cable car to go down to the beach and back up again.
