Sunny Valley Retreat near Skadar Lake

The villa is about 10 min drive to Virpazar lake. You’ll get just the top floor, ground floor facilities are closed. Owners are friendly, the place is spacious.

This villa is STILL under construction, nothing changed since reviews from two years ago. Most of the furniture is broken or almost broken. There is not enough utensils for 6 people. Just one stove top, and no kettle. There are only 4 chairs for dining table. No clothes storage in the rooms. The curtains are see-through, so the problem with the bright lights from two years ago hasn't gone away. Some sockets have open wires sticking out of them!

Exactly what we wanted: a peaceful atmosphere, very nice nature, and close proximity to Skadar Lake, Bar, and Podgorica. Very friendly and responsive hosts; looking forward to coming back.

Tranquil, in the middle of nature, still very close to the main connecting street and the lake. The owners are so friendly and really care about hosting. They gave us some great recommendations for our stay, breakfast was prepared asking for our preferences and with great care.

There could have been curtains because the automatic light in the garden reacted to every frog moving, hence it went on a lot during night. But I guess that is an easy fix, so big recommendation to book here for a calm stay in the nature close to the lake.

המקום בבנייה עוד לא מוכן לגמרי הברז של המקלחת התפרק התקע חשמל במטבח לא עבד היינו צריכים לחבר לאחר על הריצפה. הערוצי טלויזיה לא עבדו ארוחת הבוקר הגיע באיחור ( ששאלתי מה קורה ענה שנתקע בעבודה ואח שלו בדרך) . כאשר הגיע הביאו לנו רק בורקסים ממולאים עוגה יבשה וענבים, וזה אחרי שערב קודם שאל אותנו אם יש לנו בקשות מיוחדות והמארח אמר שיביא גבינות נקניקים וקפה שלא הגיע. בקיצור נראה שהמקום עונה הבא יהיה מאוד יפה ומסודר מקווה שיתמיעו את ההערות שלנו. יש למקום פוטנציאל גבוה, שיהיה להם בהצלחה!

The location is great for visiting the lake. Our host was charming and wanted to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. The property is a new build and I’m sure when it is fully completed it will be great.

The kitchen and bathroom weren’t quite ready for larger groups of visitors.
