Brilliant hotel. Exceptionally helpful staff and manager. A perfect place to stay for the safari in Udawalwe. The attached restaurant was also very good. And the outdoor pool lovely. The nicest hotel room that we stayed in during our stay in Sri Lanka.

Very clean, kind, modern and clean rooms, restaurant was nice. They arranged us an very early breakfast before the safari at 5.45 am with sandwiches and juices to take away to safari, it was very kind. They can also able to arrange private safari tour.

The property is new, clean and well kept. Only 8 rooms and more staff than people staying so you are well cared for. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my mum’s birthday special. They very kindly arranged a cake for her at dinner and a beautiful floral decoration for the bedroom. They were also just always on hand for small asks and always happy to help. The restaurant served great food too. A little limited for vegetarians but nothing a couple of pizzas and a Sri Lankan curry can’t solve! The resort is also 2 mins walk from the elephant orphanage and 15 mins from Udawalawe National Park - literally perfect.

If you have noisy neighbours, you can hear them through the walls. We couldn’t hear ours but our parents struggled to sleep because of theirs!

Great value in a location just beside the elephant sanctuary. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very nice evening meal and breakfast the following day.

Very nice area with pool. Nice rooms and super friendly staff. There is a restaurant Hungry Monkey part of the accommodation and that one is amazing. Delicious, staff great, area beautiful… and perhaps the fastest serving restaurant in whole Sri Lanka. Now, the cons…. The walls between rooms are very thin (interesting, since built from bricks) and thus you will also spend time with your neighbors. In most of the cases probably ok, in our case next to right was a devil of a German kid that did nothing but yelling, screaming, crying - thanks to respectful parents who travel for vacation to fulfill their own egoistic travel dreams and dont care about other travelers…. Oh, the French guy on the left side, talking loud into phone for an hour, before he fu***s his girl, was just a cherrytop. Also, they could at least put moscito nest to the bed. Especially the bathroom is not well isolated and moscitos regularly come for visit. Summary: for sure go to eat to Hungry Monkey and think twice about staying there for night.

L’emplacement est idéal pour partir en safari. De bons restaurants à proximité. Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec tous les équipements nécessaires.

Malheureusement pour nous, notre première chambre contenait beaucoup de moustiques, et bien que nous soyons en pleine nature, certaines « traces » de passages d’animaux laissent à désirer. Le personnel nous a gentiment changé de chambre mais nous avons également relevé un réel manque de propreté du linge de lit. Le rapport qualité/prix nous semble bien élevé comparé aux autres hôtels que nous visités au Sri Lanka.

This is a great place to do a safari. The rooms are gorgeous and the food delicious. There is no alcohol but you can easily bring your own with some planning. Our safari was in the afternoon where we saw loads of animals and birds. Loved every minute.they have a pool to cool off in too.
