Hotel Sirius

I was very pleasantly surprised with everything about the hotel. We arrived an hour early and were allowed to go into our room. The place was spotless, the breakfast was more than adequate. Lovely soft rolls, boiled ham, slices of cheese, butter and marmalade and coffee.

Nothing, we were thrilled with our stay, it was so central.

Onpersoonlijke service, verzoek voor een ontbijtbox werd meteen afgewezen zonder reden, geen enkele moeite werd gedaan.

The staff are really nice and helpfull

The balcony was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very basic.

A localização é excelente para quem quer ficar no centro do Funchal e perto da baixa. O quarto, apesar de aparentar antigo, é confortável o suficiente.

Há algum ruído durante a noite, devido à frequência de pessoas nesta rua. As janelas não são de vidro duplo :-( O pequeno-almoço poderia ter alguns quentes e fruta. Apenas pão, queijo, fiambre, iogurtes, café, chá deixa muito a desejar.

Location

There is no atmosphere in the rooms .everything is very basic. The breakfast starts at 07:30 since we had to leave 30 min before to catch our ferry, we asked if we could have a packed breakfast .. The personel wanted to help us out but another guy said 7:30 is 7:30 eventualy no service . The whole place needs a make over and the rates are to high.
