Safari Rooms

I wasn't aware that the owers would be coming back to stay in the house with us an we had our kids staying with us an he was sleeping upstairs which made it very un comfortable that they didn't want to stay there our last night there because we don't know him.

The room and home owners were very nice bed was very comfy and everything was very clean

Never made it, but my $150 is right in thier pocket! Beware

I did not like the fact the owner's description does not represent what is advertised through booking.com. This Safari House is a bed rental house where you share a bathroom with whomever happens to be in the next bedroom. This is not in the description nor pictures. It was a non refundable unit that I rented under false advertisement. I told the owner AFTER I had paid for it, that I was confused as to what they were actually advertising. I asked her if it was a mother n law suite as that was what it seemed like in the pictures. She replied no she rents beds. I then ask if we share a kitchen. She said yes. SHE NEVER said we had to share a small bathroom with random people. I don't mind sharing a kitchen, but bathrooms. NO. Under the impression it was non refundable ( per booking.com) and I did not know we had to share a bathroom until a few days before our arrival, I messaged owner about the issue and told her that was not part of the description and she did not include there was a shared bathroom when telling me we share a kitchen. I ask for part of my money back hoping that the owner would be logical. That is not the fact here. I do not suggest this home if you are traveling expecting to have some type of privacy for you and your child. Apparently most people who give this place a 5 are solo travelers. One fella has reviewed about pubes in the bathtub. At first I thought wow he must have upset and she quips back that she keeps her house pristine. How can you keep a shared bathroom pristine? Mam, do you go behind everyone who takes a shower each time and scrub the bathroom down? I doubt it. So, before you rip someone else off, put YOUR glasses on and actually look at your listing through booking.com and realized what you claim to me "you need to read closer". WHAT? How about not be vague?? How about having some decency to be a decent human being who makes mistakes and owns up to it. BE A DECENT PERSON AND COMPROMISE. When I called booking.

No private bath, Sis not like entrance

The property was located in a very nice residential neighborhood. The home was very clean and also very quiet, not one time was I woke up when I slept in after late nights of racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The hosts had no problem with my late nights at the races and were very accommodating with me coming and going at odd times accordingly. I will definitely book a room at The Safari House every time I go back to the races at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

I was uncomfortable with staying in a bedroom of someone’s personal residence at first, but the friendliness of the owners quickly put me at ease.

It's always amazing here it's one of the best relaxation places I've ever been it's so peaceful smells amazing beautiful scenery I'll give it 100% every single time

I didn't like it I love it

It was amazing very comfortable relaxing peaceful environment 10 out of 10 I would rate it 100 if I could I highly recommend
