I stayed at this beautiful place for 10 days and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect gateway from crowded Ubud. You can immerse yourself in authentic Balinese culture and day to day life since you are living next door to the friendliest happiest Balinese family. If you are lucky you can observe an authentic village ceremony nearby. This is still a less touristic area with plenty of pocket friendly local warungs and coffee shops. For sightseeing you will need transport which can be easily arranged through an online gojek or grab app. Although I didn't ask I'm sure owners can also help you with that. There was only one room for guests at the time of my stay so you have a clean pool for yourself while you relax or admire the most beautiful garden. A Room itself is really spacious with curtains for privacy. Hot water runs immediately with good pressure, no moldy smell, no drainage problems. AC works good. You have kettle in room for coffee or something. WIFI is good enough and stable for zoom meetings. Breakfast is delicious and served with a smile in front of homestay where the family runs also a cafeteria and food options. For me as a solo woman traveler safety is of utmost importance. After first day staying here I didn't even lock room anymore. Ibu (mama) Kim is the friendliest person ever. She took good care of me. Thank you for everything. Respect for Bali, its people, Balinese unique culture ABOVE all.

Spacious and clean room, good WiFi, early and good breakfast, beautiful yard, calm place

On the day of departure, the hostess was a bit pushy about vacating the room, although there were still a couple of hours before checkout.
