Surf Heavens

The location of the hotel is excellent: close to the Dickwella beach and lots of restaurants but also still very quiet (apart from a few dogs but you literally have that everywhere!). Room was clean, modern, had hot water (!) and a convenient cabinet to put your clothes on. The owner was very kind and gifted you water upon arrival/departure and helped with questions.

I liked everything and had a comfortable stay! Just fyi to solo travellers: when I was here, mainly couples come to this place so little harder to meet people

Me gustó mucho, la ubicación es genial. El propietario es maravilloso y te ayuda en todo. Estuvimos trabajando y el wifi funcionaba genial ☺️ un 10/10.

Es war wunderbar! Eine tolle Unterkunft in einer schönen, ruhigen Lage. Sehr nah am Dikwella Strand, der mir besser gefallen hat, als der Hiriketiya Strand. Aber auch dieser und das Zentrum in Hiriketiya sind in 15-20min laufen gut erreichbar. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Wäsche roch gut. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt! :)

Tricky to find

This place was great, close to everything, super comfortable and clean, we had a great 3 nights staying there. Dinesh who maintains the property is so nice and helpful. When booking I did not realize how close to Dickwella beach it actually was, and it not far to walk to Hiriketiya. The main road is also close, but could not hear street noise from the property. A good breakfast recommendation is very close called Lalasa

Schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Netter Empfang Vorort! Auf dem Zimmer gab es einen Wasserkocher, ein bisschen Tee und Wasser als Empfang, was eine echte Wohltat war. Ein Kühlschrank stand zur Mitbenutzung zur Verfügung.

Die Lage war ein wenig abseits aber fussläufig war ein Strand erreichbar, der im Vergleich zu dem Surferstrand sehr wenig Badegäste hatte.

Very clean and comfortable room, just a 3-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes to Hiriketiya main beach. The house is in a quiet area, and if you don’t have a scooter, there are restaurants within a 10-minute walk. It was also very easy to communicate with the owner, who was always available to help with anything I needed.

The room was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. :) Dikwella Beach is only 2 minutes away and there's plenty of good restaurants around. The owner was super nice and helped us a lot with everything.
