Elisir house

The owner was waiting nicely at the front door and helped with things to the second floor. The accommodation was properly introduced and everything went very smoothly. The accommodation really corresponds to what you see in the photos and what was described in previous comments. All things/systems worked properly. A great place to stay with the family!

Nothing negative to say about the accommodation! Only as for the surrounding construction works, which start very early with their noise, but the apartment owner has nothing to do here either. The next night, you just have to close the windows and doors. :)

Exceptional!! I was blown away by how amazing this place was and I wanted to stay longer. Everything was perfect... the cleanliness and facilities are outstanding. 5 stars!!

I have to say that my stay in apartment Elisir House exceeded my expectations. This is probably one of the cleanest holiday apartments I have ever been to in my life (and I travel quite a bit), absolutely spotless. The place is located in the heart of the historic district of Palermo, a few minutes by foot to all of the city's points of interests. The apartment is nestled in a very singular historic building with amazing floors and ceilings. You feel like you're staying in your own private palazzo, straight out of a movie! The apartment is HUGE, the pictures don't do it justice, it is even nicer in person. It has absolutely everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable. The beds and mattresses are of excellent quality, the linen and towels too. The place is full of technological gadgets, smart TV's, lamps etc, a nice contrast of modern and ancient. Last but not least: the hosts are amazing and go out of your way to make your stay pleasant. They are always available to answer your questions, give you tips and help you when needed. To give you an example, during the check-in, I was looking at the coffee machine to see what kind of capsules I needed to buy (there was already coffee & tea there but I can only drink decaffeinated coffee). By the time I came back to the apartment, the host had already bought me a box of decaf! The type of small details that make all the different in the world. I can only recommend this place 100% and would love to stay there again during my next trip to Palermo.

It is a renovated very old apartment in a central location. New floor tiles, paint, kitchen, bathrooms etc. There is also the double height ceiling. The owners manage/clean the rental themselves, and they are very nice and easy to reach. They leave a couple bottles of water in the fridge and a couple detergent packs in the laundry area.

The shower in the bathtub is the main problem. Supposedly the owners will install a shower stall soon.

The apartment is very centrally located, though in a small street. It is recently refurbished and clear.

Everything worked quite well, no complaints.
