La cacaoyère

The view is fantastic and so is the owner. So knowledgable, friendly, and kind. The garden is full (and I meen full!) of interesting plants and the owner knows a lot about them. Although tap water is not drinkable, fresh water is provided in large quantities. The house is completely independent, spacious for a family of five, and equipped with everything (stove, washing machine, microwave). You need a car to get there, but parking is always available and the view and the surroundings are more than worth it.

There are mosquito nets on the windows, but they did not fit perfectly and there were quite some mosquitos outside. We stayed there for two nights, but could easily and gladly stayed a few more.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Vivienne à la Cacaoyere. Le logement, situé sur les hauteurs de Saint Benoît était très confortable, bien équipé et au calme. Nous avons pu faire le tour de l'exploitation avec elle qui nous a montré cacaos, vanille et autres arbres fruitiers. Malheureusement Garance a détruit en grande partie son exploitation. L'endroit est fantastique et l'accueil très chaleureux, je vous recommande vivement ce lieu.
