Tymnos Hotel

We booked a suite and the AC in one of the rooms were not functioning. Reception said they would attend, but they did nothing. In the same bedroom there was a problem with electricity, lights was not working properly, they were like flickering. Some parts of the wall, wall papers were kind of peeled off, though this was not a big problem for us. Breakfast was alright. And the bathroom doors were full glass, well that was not a very pleasant experience. Other than the electricity and AC problems, the suite were spacious, beds were good.

Location across from water with swimming & chairs with shade included. Wonderful breakfast included. Spacious room with mini frig, electric kettle,air con, comfortable bed. Very clean. Helpful staff. Very clean.

The village is initially confusing for driving because the busy waterfront street is one way. Easily resolved with help.

I would never recommend Thymus Hotel in Bodrum to anyone. Checking in – From the moment we arrived, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms – Small, not clean, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained, with beds as hard as rock, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Air conditioning – Noisy, clunky, and far from relaxing. Breakfast – Equally disappointing: low quality, badly presented, and clearly not fresh. We arrived at 09:30, and once the food ran out, it was never replaced. If you come later, expect to leave hungry. They dont care ! Wi-Fi – Did not work for our entire stay, and the hotel staff clearly couldn’t care less. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The highlight of our trip? Walking out of this hotel for the last time.

Mooie ligging dicht aan het water. Hygienische en schoon. Goed ontbijt. Menu is goed en lekker. Centrum op loopafstand. Aardige en servicegerichte medewerkers en eigenaar. Kamers 201/202/203 zijn voorzien van twee tweepersoonsbedden in afzonderlijk van elkaar ruime kamers. Tip: Het water is direct tweee tot drie meter diep, pas op met niet zwemmende kinderen. je kunt er vanaf de vlonder in maar ook vanaf trappetje, blijf voor je veiligheid binnen de lijnen zwemmen er varen veel yachten namelijk. Wij hebben genoten!!

The property is well located and has a reserved bathing area just in front of it. The only member of the staff who could speak English was supportive and helpful.

The facilities do not meet the expectations given the pricing of the hotel. The WiFi never worked for the entire stay, and the air conditioning was old and noisy, giving no chance to adjust the temperature - as a result it was either too hot or too cold in the room, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the breakfast could be improved.

Good location with lovely views. Clean room that was well appointed

Communication with the staff extremely difficult. Seemingly pleasant and welcoming but poor understanding of English led to difficulties for example booking a transfer was a last minute panic although we had made the request the day before. A shame because a lovely place to stay.

Staff and owners are friendly and they want to make sure to assist you during your stay in whatever way they can. Complimentary breakfast at the seaside was a plus. Location wise it's close to the many restaurants, cafes etc. Also, check in and check out were hassle free.

Rooms can be renovated with more comfortable beds and better bathrooms. Water pressure was very low (stayed in September 2024) and made showering less enjoyable.
