Sultan Saray

This is a beautiful old home with wood floors and a grand curving staircase to the second floor. We stayed in a triple room with a large, luxurious separate bathroom with double sinks! Breakfast is good. The daytime staff were friendly and responsive. Nilufer was particularly sweet and helpful - please let her know how much we appreciated her.

We can only recommend that it would be helpful if there was someone on site on a regular basis to address any issues that may arise. We do not travel with a phone so using the booking.com system to contact someone was not very efficient or timely and it created some confusion at times. Otherwise, we cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here.

We booked a room with a private bathroom but got a shared bathroom, which was very inconvenient.

Location, staff, grounds, the building itself is really lovely, very grand. Good breakfast to start the day and a lovely deck to relax in the evening. Some good restaurants just up the road about 800meters away.

The beds were a little hard for our old bones but that seems the norm in the Stan’s.
