The Windsock is absolutely stunning. Extremely clean, tidy, and has everything you need and more. The view is breathtaking.

There is nothing we did not like.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Windsock - it truly exceeded our expectations. The 180-degree sea views are absolutely breathtaking, where you can both watch and hear the waves, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. What really stood out were the incredibly thoughtful, personal touches for humans and dogs alike. It is exceptionally pet-friendly! The hosts went above and beyond by leaving treats for our dogs, including biscuits, homemade ice cream, and even a special gift for our French Bulldog, Henry's upcoming birthday. That level of care made us feel so welcomed and at home. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and well-equipped, with air conditioning, a variety of toiletries and hair products, disposable slippers and gowns, and lovely personalized notes throughout. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this property for a pet friendly beach getaway!

A remote control for the gate would be a bonus!

We often stay in Ballito visiting family. This was by far our best stay to date. No detail was spared. Squicky clean. Fully equipped kitchem and I mean fully is in fact an understatement. Charcoal, gas and wood braais. Luxuriously comfortable beds and bedding. Fully stocked bathrooms (I am talking robes, slippers, a scale, vanity mirror...). The perfect view and ample outdoor seating. Beach towels, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and extra blankets. And then the special touches: doggy treats and dpggy icecream for our furbabies. A fully stocked pet cupboard. We have never stayed in any place where our dogs felt more welcome. We can 110% recommend and will certainly stay again. Well done guys! Our stay was on another level.

Absolutely nothing! Craig and Libda even checked in on our dogs when we had to leave them home for 2 hours.

Fabius location, exceptional hosting, dogs are treated as guests. You will have your own entrance and door key ( owners live upstairs) The bedlinen is of a high standard, the kitchen is well appointed, the seating on the wide and expansive deck is very comfortable. Books and games are provided. The TV has multiple channels. It’s a perfect home from home.

The placement of the swimming pool somewhat interrupts the view from the bedrooms.

The windsock is delightful. Exactly as described and featured online but better. It’s impeccably clean, has every amenity and item you’d want and find at home, the host are immensely thoughtful, kind, and responsive. The views and proximity to the beach are incredible. Instructions and personalized small notes are everywhere helping ensure you are comfortable and life is as easy and straightforward as beach life should be. Our dogs loved it. We loved it!

The Windsock is absolute perfection – honestly, “incredible” doesn’t even begin to describe it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, the immaculate attention to detail, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home. 🌊✨ This is hands-down the most beautiful, pet-friendly accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Every room looks out onto the ocean, so no matter where you are, you’re surrounded by the calming sound of the waves and panoramic sea views that are simply unforgettable. The design of the home makes the most of its location. The property is not only stylish and beautifully maintained but also offers every amenity you could possibly need. From the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to the washing machine and tumble dryer, everything is provided to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. It truly feels like a luxurious home away from home – with the added bonus of being in one of the most stunning seaside settings imaginable. One of the highlights for us was being able to watch dolphins and whales right from our balcony. Sitting with a cup of coffee in the morning and spotting these incredible animals so close to shore was nothing short of magical. These are the kinds of moments that make The Windsock such a rare and special place. 🙌🐬🐋 The entire home was spotless, with everything immaculately presented and cared for. It’s clear that Craig and Linda take great pride in both the house and in ensuring their guests have the best possible experience. They were excellent hosts – warm, attentive, and thoughtful – and they truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Craig and Linda, thank you for sharing your stunning home with us. The Windsock is a slice of paradise, and we already know this won’t be our last visit. We can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again. 💙

The view is absolutely stunning from all 3 bedrooms, the lounge and the dining area. The house is so well equipped from braai facilities to, doggy blankets, to full size toiletries in every bathroom. Crisp white linen, comfy beds, plenty pillows, dishwasher and washer dryer, just really well equipped. From the welcoming it was clear that our hosts, Craig and Linda, love making sure people have not only a great stay but also feel special. There were too many personalised touches to mention. They made sure our babies had bath toys, our doggies had some homemade ice cream in the freezer, fresh water in bowls and they even set the rooms in an orientation to suite our stay. They were in touch just enough to make sure we were fine all the time but never intruded. They bought us supper for the first night because we would be too late to cook and they even brought us some nice takeaway coffee before our long trip home. I would score the Windsock 12 out of 10 if I could. We will most definitely not stay anywhere else when we go to Ballito again.
