Yellow House

Het verzorgde welkom en de vele faciliteiten.

The welcoming food on arrival was a lovely touch. There was lovely little artistic touches throughout the premises like a paper crane and a pretty clock and an artwork by Yayoi Kusama. The water with fishing boats in it was only about 10 m behind our apartment. It was about a 50 m walk to the bus stop to get the buses around the island. It reminded me of a little holiday house by the water.

This is a one-bedroom self-contained condo, one of a trio under the same management, roomy and comfortable with full kitchen. It's located in a residential area, one block from the bus stop. Breakfast supplies were provided, which was helpful as there is no store nearby.

This was booked at the last minute, and request for free cancellation one day later was denied -- understandable but disappointing. Note that transportation on the island is limited, it's awkward taking the small local bus with luggage, so try to have someone pick you up at the port when you arrive.

Super Ausstattung und sehr gedankenvoll. Wir hatten ein kleines Frühstück und wurden zur Abfahrt zum Hafen gebracht. Es ist zwar nicht ganz in Honmura, aber quasi um die Ecke. Alles fühlt sich sehr sicher an.

Yellow House provides a large space, excellent for spending a few days on Naoshima. It is conveniently located near a bus stop.

Located between some great eateries. Okonomiyaki, Italian and a Ramen cafe which was closed when we stayed . Easy walk to Naoshima old town for coffee, eats and scenery. Naoshima coffee house is approx 10 mins walk with coffee and amazing views. The Yellow house was so comfy with kitchen and an apartment set up. Very well equipped. Would stay here again if I come to Naoshima. Bus stops a stones throw from the accomodation.
