Pratique pour un stop sur la route entre le nord et le sud de kruger. Attention on avait pas compris mais il s’agit d’un sanctuaire / zoo donc les logements sont au milieu des différentes cages avec des animaux ( lions etc … ) mais n aime ou on aime pas. Personnel agréable, restauration sur place si vous ne souhaitez pas retourner à la ville.

What a traumatic night we had at Lions View Accomodation. We booked rooms 27 and 28, we had stopped over for a night's accomodation after a wedding. Nothing could have prepared us for a traumatic night we experienced. We were woken up in the middle of night with loud bangs on the door by the staff looking for a gun that was left by a previous guest. They woke us up naked and all, without even considering the time of the night it was. We were not even given proper time to dress up as they kept banging the door. To our shock the gun was found under the mattress. So for a few hours we slept with a gun under our mattress that we don't even know what criminal activities it was involved in..we didn't sleep a wink after that. What I fail to understand is, if the rooms were cleaned, how come housekeeping didn't pick this up. Worse, couldn't they wait till the morning to look for that gun, cause how do you sleep after that???? I'm utterly disappointed with the treatment we have received,  it was my 3rd time using this establishment and it was my last!!! To insult our privacy, they offer us a lousy game drive to make up for the inconvenience caused.  No amount of game drive can make up for waking up us abruptly to look for a gun.. this is unacceptable!! I was promised that management will be in contact with us to formally apologise for this disgrace of a service.. it's Monday 20:00 no one has bothered to contact me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The room was big clean and comfortable chairs to chill in.Waking up to the deep reverberating rumble of the lions grunt in the early morning was an absolute bonus. Really a good choice to stay over .
