Little Haven

Location was ideal for our group; nothing like greeting the day with coffee on the beach. Enjoyed the deck and patio furniture for sunset cocktails. Convenient to many local attractions (Sandy Hook, gardens, historic houses) that we wanted to visit. Host was helpful and available if needed. On-street parking not difficult due to off-season, but would hate to have to try it during high season. Clean rooms with all necessary appliances, kitchen equipment, plenty of towels.

The property and its furnishings are somewhat elderly and could stand some updating. It had a slightly shabby feel and look, but everything worked and it was fine for our short stay. Definitely a cramped space if you had to stay inside much of the time. For what we wanted (a base for touring) it was just fine.

Location to family party.

For 4 people , tight. especially with walk thru bedroom to get to only bathroom. Outdoor eating and facilities allowed for more space.

not much other than we had a roof over our heads for 2 nights while in the area for a family funeral

The bathroom is inside one bedroom and had to be walked thru by the 2nd guest. TV can only be viewed from the bed in the room which also housed the bathroom. In effect it was a 1 bedroom with a porch, and nothing comfortable to sit on The blinds don't block the light much, and have broken and missing slats. The water pipes knock in the wall at random times, including during the night No place to hang clothes, not even a coat hook.

The location! The privacy to wake up and wander the beach.

We enjoyed everything

It was nice and the equipment that we used was good. Everything was really easy to get to which was awesome!

The beds - they were hard. Our backs were hurting come morning time.

Owner is very friendly and responsive. Lots of restaurants to walk to, and a nice quiet little beach on the river right out back.

If you’re the kind of person who has to have their car within 100 feet of your door, that can be a problem. However, if you don’t mind a short walk, we never had a problem finding street parking…and we were there at the peak of tourist season.
