Silver Sands

Loved the ocean view and the big windows facing it. Had the windows open all night and it was very pleasant. Proximity to the beach was perfect.

I don't think there was anything we particularly disliked. I think the late check in time compared to the early check out was the only thing but it wasn't a huge deal.

The view was pretty good I guess, could see the ocean a bit. The beach access was awesome, and the beach itself was wonderful!

Dirty room. Old. Uncaring staff. No air conditioner!

Excellent location, love being right on the ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Have all the essentials that you would need. Have stayed here for several years and love to return and enjoy this small oceanside town. It is walkable to the main downtown area which is nice.

Our first night we arrived later in the evening and brought a simple meal to cook in the room. The cooktop seemed to have 1 burner not working and the display was going out so you couldn't discern what level of heat it was on. It took at least 30 min. to boil water in a pot so we had a very late dinner. Also, the first night just as we were getting into bed the smoke detector in the room started beeping. The office closes at 9pm, there was no one to call. I had to climb onto a chair to take it off the ceiling so we could sleep.

No breakfast was served

The staff was curt and could have been a little nicer. The room while clean was very basic. A dresser or something to put clothes in would have been nice as well as a nightstand on both sides of the bed instead of just one. An extra towel or two would have been great. They were stingy with that request.

Ocean view

The room had almost no art on the walls just one picture and the rest of the walls felt empty. The bed felt like it was 20 years old, you could feel every spring as soon as you lay down.
