COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW: booking says no wifi but the property had WiFi; apartment is bigger than it seems in the pictures; everything is clean and sleek; kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil, kitchen tool, and eating container you can think of, even better than at home! kitchen has key ingredients like spices, oil, garlic; toaster and electric kettle are modern; cabinet space is good; main room has nice couches and both pull out into decent beds; dining room table is very big; there’s a big speaker with great bass in the main room; patio is cute and separated by glass door allowing for good morning light; mud room separates main room from bedroom +bathroom with multiple doors allowing for privacy; shower/bathtub always had hot water and are clean and nice; there’s a ski locker downstairs; there’s cards/games in the tall piece of furniture in the living room; tons of towels/linens are provided; the nicer of two supermarkets in Cesana is only a ~6 minute walk away; hosts were always helpful. There’s a Michelin plate (one rank below Michelin star) restaurant in Cesana (la ginestra); we don’t recommend. It’s okay, but more expensive and less tasty than the restaurant across the street. That one is amazing!

slight lack of outlets; bedroom windows are boarded shut and bathroom windows also lack light. kitchen table is very small; sink is very small and water spills everywhere onto the counters if you have lots of dishes; induction stovetop is a bit flimsy; no surface cleaner was provided; a very weird pipes sound could be heard throughout the whole apartment and especially in the bedroom every time someone flushed. the apartment is about as far from the ski lift as it gets for Cesana; however, it IS still in Cesana. ~20 min walk with gear (not counting the shuttle from town center, which isn’t always active). We anticipated this and were unbothered. It’s worth the money saved especially with ski lockers adjacent to the ski lift in Cesana or even at the foot of the slopes in Sansicario. Cesana is NOT Sauze D’oulx, and it’s not easy to get between the two (1h bus); do not plan to après ski in Sauze easily. The winding roads between the two are nauseating. Regional buses are confusing and time-inconsistent. Don’t plan to après hard in Cesana either - the few bars are very quiet (we went in late Feb.)
