Renaissance Hotel Pohang

Beautiful hotel with a lovely large room and a tray ceiling plus wonderful lighting. The exterior was exceptional. The hotel is located a few short blocks from the Bus Terminal and Home Plus grocery store. Breakfast had abalone porridge cabbage salad, fried eggs, toast, juice, and drip coffee. All receptionist were nice and professional.

We had difficulty adjusting the room temperature.

Located really close to intercity bus terminal. Plenty of local city busses to get around on. This is a very interesting place. If you are a Westener make sure you visit the 6th floor, but don’t take the kids. Some interesting stuff to read ( in English on the walls). Really big comfortable room.

Not a lot food wise in the general area but not really a problem. Get 900 bus and go to beach area and there is plenty.

I thought it was a Renaissance run by Marriot, but actually a local motel (potential legal risk for booking.com). Almost no staff speaking English. The old lady at reception could not print the invoice when I checked out. She then promised to send by email in a few days, but failed to do so until now.

It’s not a hotel..just a motel.

size of room is amazing for a family. The beds were so comfortable and big. I love that the toiletries were readily available if you forget anything. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and kids were able to enjoy a bubble bath. There was always water for the whole family. The room was cleaned everyday!

The small fridge was dirty and not cold enough. It also had a foul order. This needs to be cleaned.
