Himalaya Shanti HOMESTAY

Despite having a confirmed booking, when we arrived at the Darjeeling train station and phoned the Home Stay, we were informed that the Home Stay was closed. Standing on the train platform, at night, we needed to arrange alternate accommodations. Thanks to hospitable and caring locals, we were able to do this.

Our experience at Himalaya Shanti Homestay in Darjeeling was absolutely delightful. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped by the warmth of the hosts and the cozy ambiance of the homestay. The breathtaking views of the Himalayas from our window each morning were truly mesmerizing. The homemade meals served with love showcased the flavors of Darjeeling, leaving us craving for more. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the main attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Our stay was made even more memorable by the personalized care and attention to detail provided by the hosts. We can't recommend Himalaya Shanti Homestay enough and can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience."

Everything I like in this property - Rooms, Cleanliness, Behavior, service, Food Quality, Bed, view, and free car parking. the best thing is seeing the Japanese Temple from the rooftop. JUST AWESOME!
