I did not like anything about the property. It was deceiving

I booked on booking for 1 night confirmed paid . I asked for a second night paid in cash .looked at the room I booked and the horrible condition . I changed my mind with in 30 min I talked with front desk asked for my refund back . I was told the gave the cash to he manager and to see them in the morning. Morning checked out asked to speak with manager for my cash refund . Staff was dishonest gave me the run around . I waited for almost 2 hours and spoke with 2 different managers via text because they would not answer my phone calls . Told to different information. I left after waiting for 2 hours to attend a meeting came back and was given a receipt for payment I made . Receipt that was created and date and time stamp after I left for my meeting and asked to speak to manager in person on my return . I was told there is no refund and I let them know that no receipt or invoice was given or emailed to me as per policy. Manager than sake to Leah name and phone or account number and they will refund the money owed . Front desk text me the next day and aske that I please except half payment. I told her I need the full amount. I have never dealt with such terrible dishonest staff before . It is theft what was done and they tried to cover it up with bogus receipts the next day and lies and wasted my time waiting for a manager that never showed up or pretended to be a manager . Room was dirty and it was not what was shown on pictures . It’s a shared space which I didn’t know what to expect . But it was like a 3 bedroom condo and rooms are rented out . Shared bathroom had feces on toilet seat . Private bathroom had drain problem .

The sitting area was nice and the sofas were comfy...

Too many coakroaches. Having said so, the staff were really lovely...

That it was nearby the beach and where I needed to be.

That they didn’t have hot water to shower.

The floors and bathroom were dirty. The staff desperately need customer service and communication training. I was in the apartment alone and staff asked me to keep the front door unlocked which I find inappropriate and unheard of. It was also unlocked when I returned home on my second night. On my third day, they decided to call me (once I'd left the property on my way to business meetings) to tell me that they needed to move me to do a fumigation and when I said I couldnt return they asked for me to send my room keys in a boda boda. This also is unheard of and very unprofessional. I rightly refused and asked them if they could fumigate the following day as I would be back late and leaving early in the morning. I returned at 9.30pm to a fumigation in full swing and chemical liquid all over the floor and doors which I had to walk throuh to empty my room. Not one person said "Samahani". I live in Tanzania, I'm in Dar every month and im easy going and dont expect same standards as europe but this experience was a complete joke and I would not recommend staying here.

The room service were nice and humble, comfortable bed nice washroom and the small balcony to chill outside so it was nice

The booking process is painful as there is no communication to the guys on site, took approximately 45 minutes to get the checkin done. No breakfast was served even though it’s what was paid for included as part of the room. The light in the bathroom was working, the TV doesn’t work.
