Villa Mimosa

The location is good just few minutes away from shops and restaurants (by car). The house itself is very big and with a lot of potential especially for the view from the terrace. But there’re a lot of issues: lack of maintenance and old equipment. Not worthy for the money we spent.

The main issue was the lack of comfort in the first floor bedrooms aerea. The temperatures in the summer in Sicily are always high and we had to sleep with an average of 33 degrees every night for 6 days! No AC and a fan insight. After several messages the owner who was already rejecting and denying that it was hot to sleep there, he sent over few fans for the rooms. Other issues: clogged pipes in the showers and kitchen sink, doors which were not closing properly. Pool area extremely neglected with a dangerous bannister built with rusty wires and made of rotten wood and precarious fence. Closed by the garden the owner dumped old furnitures and the kids area equipment which we saw in the pictures when we booked but we’re not there anymore. I can say the pictures shown of the property are at least from 20 years ago. We can carry on with many more things but I’m very disappointed from the owner response very arrogant and not helpful. Never again!

House was very nice and spacious. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms, and the host was very helpful with any questions we had. The house was clean and will all of the necessary amenities.

We had to pay extra for bedsheets. We expected to have them prepared by default in every bed.
