Calante Luna

Expectcular view of Praiano and Positano very nice property, If you don’t mind walking up steps in our 60’S both my wife an I, had no problems climbing the steps and found it a great exercise.

5+ Stars for Calante Luna. Forget the stairs (there’s stairs everywhere in Almalfi), the 2-bedroom unit we stayed in was great, views are exceptional, and a convenient location in Praiano for shops, restaurants, views, bus stop, etc (without too many stairs to get there!). Giovanni was super-helpful, excellent communication, great tips about the area, places to eat and shop, fantastic private boat trip arranged, etc. The sun loungers and spa were fantastic editions to chill out after a hot day walking and visiting other spots in Almalfi. We’ll be back!

We loved literally everything. As close to perfection as it gets. The location is fabulous, the view stunning. The property is developed onto three big land terraces. One with the apartments, one with a communal space and jacuzzi and one with sun-beds and a gorgeous lemon orchard. The greenery and flowers are a spectacle themselves. One could easily spend most of the time enjoying the beauty of Calante Luna itself. There is a staircase to get to it (as everywhere else in Amalfi coast) and we enjoyed walking them every single time, feeling for healthy while on holiday and less guilty of binging with the pleasures of “La dolce vita”!!! Giovanni helped us from the very beginning. He is very knowledgeable of the area and gave us plenty of tips and advice. The facilities, service and stay are outstanding.

Well appointed, spotlessly clean with stunning views across the bay. Giovanni could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

Nitpicking but the apartment could do with a little updating although everything worked well

Could not have chosen a better place to stay in Praiano! The property is amazing with pristine views and close enough to walk to town. There are plenty of dining options close by. Giovanni was incredibly kind and helpful! We will be back!

Host was very welcoming, explained a lot of local sites, bars and restaurants along the Amalfi coast. The property is fantastic, we selected the space with a private terrace and enjoyed having a drink or meal here in the evenings as the sun went down. There’s a great local bar (Bar del Sole) for affordable breakfasts and for later in the day house drinks are €4 (spritz are more expensive). Lots of restaurants in the town.

Amassed by the balcony with the breathtaking view ! The location of the property is ideally placed between busy Positano and Amalfi ! A big thank you to the host for the help, the tips and the treats during our stay!

Peaceful, gorgeous, memorable. Pleasant and helpful staff who made us feel at home and made us want to return.

Our stay at Calanteluna was everything we’d hoped for. The property was just beautiful and Giovanni our host was friendly and helpful. Praiano was lovely and we were so happy we chose to stay there. If you are able, don’t miss Path of the Gods, it was wonderful. Only caution is you must be willing and able to do lots of stairs to stay here but I promise it’s worth it.
