Chrilu house

The hosts were warm, helpful and easy to communicate with. There were a few cafes and eateries close by and the historical centre was a 20 minute walk. There was a bottle of wine when we arrived. The host kindly helped us with free parking on the street though we were advised to leave nothing in the vehicle.

The neighbourhood is rough. Access to the place is challenging, many locks and many, many flights of stairs. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Our room was cramped and dark. The tiny kitchen was minimally equipped.

Very convenient location for walking around the center of Catania. New and extremely clean apartment and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even salt, olive oil and napkins. The owners were very kind, they had parked their own car to save us a place in front of the building so we could park for free. When they settled us in, they had prepared water and a bottle of wine for us. Thank you. We will see you again

The only thing I didn't like was that the air conditioner turned off every 2 hours.

The simple style of the apartment, the natural light, the comfortable bed, the generous touches, the parking situation, the location to the centre and the warm, genuine host.

Location was great - just a 10-min walk to the very heart of the city. Place was clean and well-appointed, and the host was very responsive.

WiFi was a bit inconsistent, but everything else was fine.

Everything was excellent: - from the beginning the communication with the owner, who even greeted us in the middle of the night, we felt welcomed. He took care, we had a parking place (it's easy to find one nearby - for free) - beautiful and clean apartment (coffee, drinks and snacks were waiting for us), with everything you need for a short stay - city view from the balcony - so nice - center is 15min by foot, which is convenient and small market is close - would definitely come back next time!
