USThis place is an absolute gem in the Golden Circle! Convenient location to many of Iceland's main sights. Features a spacious kitchen and living room, wonderful deck with excellent views, and a lovely hot spring-fed hot tub. Excellent appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, spacious refrigerator.) Flexible sleeping for a group of friends or a family or two. Fuel station and restaurants in town; small grocery store is approximately 10 minutes away. Contact with the host family was frequent and easy. Horses on property to admire. The house is a good distance off the main road and is very quiet. Absolutely no promises, of course, but it was a wonderful place to see the Aurora Borealis. I cannot recommend enough and I look forward to staying here again in the future!
You'll perhaps find the two single bedrooms are a bit on the small side if you have large luggage, but there is plenty of space throughout the house to store your goods. I highly recommend bringing paper towels and napkins along with you. There are two bathrooms, one of which has an exterior door (intended for hot tub access) which can get a bit chilly in the winter.

CALocation was in the midst of the Golden Circle. Quiet and private, yet a short distance from dining options.
Nothing. We didn’t have electricity for the first five hours of our stay, but the owner was very responsive in keeping was up to date on the situation. He even dropped by the next day to offer us a gift for putting up with it, even though it was out of his control. A nice touch though.

GBWe loved the house, it's huge and has beautiful views. There are plenty of beds and 2 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of comfy places to sit. The kitchen was really well equipped too. Would have liked to stay longer.
The only criticism we had was that the pillows need replacing. Otherwise it would have been perfect.
ILBig and spacious apartment, the owner was available for anything we needed. The view from the apartment is amazing.
