Palm Cottage

I haverecently undergone cancer treatment (from Sept 2025 until 21 March 2026. I have been very strict on hygiene and cleanliness due to my compromised immune system. But when I walked into my into I smelt cleaning chemicals. I loved this. The shower and shower pressure were amazing and the bed was so comfy with a beautiful (what felt like) feather down duvet. I only stayed the night as I had to be in hospital the following day for my next cancer procedure. I will definitely be staying there again. The host Emmanuel was very friendly. Loved the ambience and attention to detail in the cottage too. Overall.. 10 out of 10. XXX

The accommodation was good value for money

The house was situated in a good area, even though it's a large shared property with multiple spaces it felt private renting this 2bed self catering apartment.

It would have been better if they turned down the rooms and bedding, cleaned the place a little and restocked atleast the toilet paper when finished. We did not enjoy the cockroaches here either. Better care needs to be taken around this.

The treatment

As one guest mentioned in a previous review, they could have left a small bar of hand soap at the basin. Thanks to the review, I carried on with me.
