We stayed before 3 years ago. New owners, getting run down. Needs updating and good cleaning. Smells musty.

Not well cleaned at all. Our cabin still had garbage in the garbage can from people before, dishes were dirty and the cabin our daughter stayed in literally had gum on the wall. If you go be sure to bring silverware and dishes. We had a total of three forks for silverware. We’ve been going here for years but since it has new owners it is not the same quiet clean place it used to be. Sadly this will be our last time going there.

Water smelt of sulfur , floors were gritty, loud neighbors till early morning , one bright glaring light .Location was not near anything.

Location is great, staff is friendly, lovely traditional Michigan roadside motel.

The well water had a pretty strong sulfur smell.

Location - half hour from both Manistee and Ludington

Had to wait to check-in so the room could be cleaned.... see more below... The atmosphere seemed like a sketchy side of town vibe. People sitting outside all day and a run down car in the parking lot full of household belongings. The room was NOT clean. Old food in the stove burners, dirty silverware tray, stains on an upholstered chair, dirt in the creases of a leather couch, air freshener was STRONG and sitting on a drink stained end table. The bathroom door had some sort of splash marks on the bottom and discolored and the area rug in the living room had a ton of sand in it from the landscape. So much, that when my son took off his sandals I had to wipe his feet and put his shoes back on so we left. We decided not to stay the night after looking around the room and booked a hotel a half hour away.

It was priced well

The water smelled of sulfur, rotten eggs. The room was very small, the bathtub needs work. Shower head too low.

I found some hair on the rim of the bathtub but I took care of it. Food in the non freezer part of the refrigerator was frozen.
