"Fabulous location. Great facilities. Attentive host."

10.0

Stunning property. Great location. Excellent facilities. Attentive host. We had a fabulous 12 days at Casa Bodamya. Great launch point for Kalkan (and Kas which we preferred) without the searing heat of the coast. Pool is wonderful. Gardens are immaculate and tended on a daily basis which keep the numerous grape vines fruiting prolifically. We experienced a couple of power cuts which Serdar our sorted out asap.

Nothing.

"A beautiful, characterful villa in a peaceful location, providing a totally relaxing holiday."

10.0

We loved our stay at the characterful Casa Bodamya. Its spacious garden with numerous sitting areas and the gorgeous salt water swimming pool were very much enjoyed by us. It is very private and although there are neighbouring properties, they are not intrusive. We were delighted to find an unexpected welcome package of the basic foods and some homemade red wine (which we can recommend!) greeting us on arrival. This meant we had a relaxing start to our holiday. The house is well equipped, with dish washer, washing machine, hairdryer, etc and ideal for a couple or up to 4 people. There is a separate double bedroom downstairs with en suite facilities- these are just curtained off, but there is also a separate toilet on the ground floor for privacy- so it could also suit two couples so long as one couple doesn't mind using the open plan kitchen/bedroom/sitting area upstairs. This upper room has access to a very nice double ended shower and WC facilities. There is also air con both upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom. Serdar, the owner, has good English and provided us with great communications via WhatsApp. Additionally, he accommodated us arriving in the middle of the night and staying on a little later on our day of departure, which was very much appreciated. The villa was beautifully clean and well looked after by the housekeeper, who lives nearby and is lovely. We had a rental car and used this to visit restaurants and shops in Islamlar but also made frequent trips down to Kalkan which is only about 20 mins away. There was a heatwave during our stay and we appreciated being up in the hills in the slightly fresher air, away from the high humidity below. The road is steep and winding which is daunting to drive at first but we soon got used to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house and fully intend to return.

We loved it all!
