Perfect size for 2-3 people. Shower is beautiful with plenty of water pressure and hot water. It is all on one floor, so no stairs! Host was responsive and the home was furnished with all that’s needed. The neighbors all around sitting outside and saying hello is just adorable.

I have been using Booking.com for many years, always as a highly rated guest, and this is the first time I have encountered such an unpleasant situation — which is why I feel compelled to share it so that others can avoid the same experience. Upon arrival, I discovered that my reservation had been made for one guest instead of two — an oversight on my part. I was fully prepared to pay a fair supplement for the additional person, based on market rates. Checking Booking.com for similar dates, the difference between one and two guests was consistently around €9–11 per night. The host, however, initially demanded €70 extra per night — more than double the proportional rate — later reducing it to €50, and finally settling at €200 total for six nights. This inflated my total cost from €525 to €725, a price at which Bari offers far better accommodations in terms of comfort, service, and value. While the booking was non-refundable, giving the host discretion, the way this was handled felt unreasonably opportunistic and far from guest-friendly. The excessive surcharge overshadowed the entire stay and left me certain that in Bari, you can find much better places for your money. As for the property itself, nothing beyond what is already noted in other reviews: very noticeable dampness and limited natural light.
