SGThis is an underrated gem of a place. Run by a very friendly and warm family over 3 generations. The restaurant is an attraction in its own right with the materfamilias being the head chef. The food was excellent and had its own regular lunch and dinner clientele. The room was nice and cosy with a skylight and a large terrace with sights of the Alps. The hotel is about 1.5 km from the funicular and the son kindly dropped me off on the first day to get me going. Very accommodating to let me keep the room for a few hours more at half charge and the son-in-law was the chauffeur for the drop off to the station. On the whole, it is great value for money and comfort.
I can't think of anything significant. The ability to use a European charging socket in the room would be nice. They were Italian only.

USQuiet hotel with a good restaurant that worked perfectly as a base to work, read and eat very well for a couple days before going up to a remote mountain hut. Michel and Katia, their mother and the staff keep the place in top shape and running like clockwork - Switzerland is just over the mountains here, and the vibe is Swiss efficiency with Italian friendliness. Local people also frequent the place for dinner, and will happily chat with guests (better if you know Italian though!) Special points for the really good crostata cakes and Michel's Maltese dog, Vox, who hangs out in the hotel and is a curious, funny fellow.
The TV in the room was very small but in fairness, I didn't turn it on once. There are a lot better things to see and do in Lanzada and Valmalenco than watching tv.
GBFriendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Convenient for skiing. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
