Nice, roomy and comfortable living space in a small town close to historical Galena.
Well, without sounding too critical, there could be more attention to details regarding stay amenities. Lighting was very bright in living room and dining space, so table lamps would be welcome. Window coverings allowed a LOT of outdoor light to shine in sleeping space. Pillows were flat, so glad we brought our own. No shampoo or bar soap provided. No microwaveable dishes. No cable TV, only Roku streaming, so no local news or national sports programming (only one of provided remote controls functioned). Building exterior is rough. There was a wasp next above front steps. With a little tweaking, this could be a really lovely apartment to rent. Hopefully my comments are only taken as constructive criticism.

It would be nice to offer your guests, cooking oil, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, an iron and ironing board The overhead fluorescent lights often flickered.

Went to local restaurant for breakfast. Large portions and food was good.
Description of front door key location was not adequately explained in communication from host. I brought my own hangars , which was fortunate as there were none. The information looseleaf had been misplaced by cleaners and was unavailable.Only 1 coffee cup available. No drawers for clothes
