Endless Summer Apartment

After we arrived and had problems with the air conditioner and a safe that was known to be broken and toilet seat not attached well they were quick to respond The washer/was excellent

The safe should have been fixed since it was known to be broken before our arrival Towels were minimal a few towel hooks would have been helpful I map of the town would be big plus When I booked, they wanted to know my exact arrival I told them I would let them know when I found out then I never heard from them after several messages I finally called they don’t like to give out information till the last minute

Comfortable and spacious apartment in a nicely renovated old historic building with an aristocratic flare. The location is fantastic, right in a small street with shops, cafes and restaurants which leads to the main square with the Faro sign and also a 5 minute walk from the train station. The apartment had everything needed to prepare a light meal for a family.

The shower floor is dangerously slippery, and there was no anti-slip mat or even a sign. The very first night of our stay, both my daughter and I fell in the shower. She was fine but I fractured my tailbone which made my whole vacation very uncomfortable since I am in a horrible pain every time I am in a bouncy ride or climbing stairs or simply sitting down or standing up. As soon as I mentioned this to the lady managing the apartment, she brought an anti-slip mat, but the damage was already done. This is the only fault in this apartment, and the reason I can not give the maximum rating.

Great location and renovated apartment

our stay was for 6 days. i would assume that the towels and toilet roll would have been replaced by the 3rd or 4th day. unfortunately that was not the case. i had to ask for that on day 5(also considering that day 4 and 5 we didnt stay at the apartment, as we travelled to Spain). so that part was not so pleasant. also had to clean the bins. i was not informed about this from the start of the booking; also noticed that in the price breakdown there was a separate fee for cleaning.

The apartment itself is centrally-located, modern, and well-designed. Thankfully, the local staff in Faro was extremely responsive and friendly.

1. I was not aware that the property required a separate €150 hold on your credit card until AFTER booking. Even though this requirement was buried in the fine print, this was the only vacation rental that insisted on a credit card hold of all my countless vacation rental bookings on booking.com over the years, which is inconvenient and more risky since I had to give my credit card details to an unknown company other than booking.com. 2. To garner my credit card details for the "hold", the property instead flooded my emails with a mistaken auto-messages to "pay" the amount that they were owed by booking.com. Suspicious of double payment, I sent emails and texts requesting them to explain this dubious situation. There was no reply for 24 hours, so I had to call them. It turns out that "Jose" of "Misha's Place" who answered was based in Lisbon instead of Faro and was "too busy" to reply. He admitted that the "pay" demand was a mistaken, but in a surly, indifferent manner; their mistake consumed extra time, energy, peace of mind, and international phone charges that no traveler needs. 3. Unfortunately, the apartment I was assigned faces the street, so curtain always has to be drawn for privacy sake; it is also not well-insulated against exterior sounds, so I can hear each car passing by and pedestrians' conversations. It also hardly gets any sun, which is the reason I came to the Algarve.

Stunningly beautiful apartment. Very comfortable, clean with everything you could need. Great host. 2mins walk to main square and marina. Near great bars coffee shops and restaurants. Beautifully restored old building. Large rooms tastefully decorated.A lovely pool and decking out back of buildings.

This flat was absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect, clean, with plenty of space, organized and with everything you need. Victoria was so nice and taking care of details. What a nice flat!
