Junction Gem

The highlight of our stay was obviously watching the sunset over Mt Ruapehu from the hot tub. We had an awesome stay at Kim's, who was delightful and even let one of our friends enjoy the property a little more while waiting for his train to Auckland. We highly recommend staying at Junction Gem!

The house itself was nice, had everything we needed. Nicely decorated and simple, made it easy having a 2yr old as there was nothing much for him to touch. Instructions were easy to follow. Had a spa pool which was a little hard to get in and out of as it was very high, also set very hot.. not ideal for this season. I can see how it would be nice in the winter.

We went to play the monopoly game in cupboard and the actual board was missing. So gutted as there's absolutely nothing to do during the off season. The house was located very far away from the town and right next to the train track... it wasn't ideal at all during the month of January.

The hot tub was lovely to enjoy at the end of the day.

Very comfy space with everything we needed! Excellent location for getting up the mountain.

Nice clean and tidy place. Well equipped kitchen. Spa was a bonus. Walking distance to a couple of eateries and bars. Was nice being close to the trains.

Everything was good.
