Downtown Hostels Mirissa

Best hostel I ever stayed at! The room & the bathroom are really clean and modern, the staff is so sweet, I even had the room for myself for one night :)

Would have been nice to have a towel free of charge but other than that everything was great :)

The hostel was spotless and had all the facilities that I needed. The bed was very comfortable. The locker was big enough to fit my bag pack. The shower and toilet was very good and had hot water. The hostel has comfortable shared spaces. The kitchen has everything you need including kitchenware and spices. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

A great stay in a relatively new hostel. Rooms are clean and new. Common room area is a nice touch. Closeby to coconut hill lookout. Would recommend this as a stay!

The hostel is really clean and the breakfast is delicious. It is a 15-minute walk to the main beach.

This hostel is very new so the room, bed and bathroom were very clean and up to date. Bed was comfortable and every bed had its own plug and reading light, and also curtain to bring some privacy. The staff were very helpful and kind! Bit far, but still a walking distance from the busiest area. Location was near to the sunset view point which was nice.

This was by far my best hostel stay in Sri Lanka! The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The location was just so perfect if you want to chill by coconut tree hill and also just 10 min walk to Mirissa Beach. The hostel was super clean and the rooms were spacious and the AC was working the best.

Downtown Hostels in Mirissa is a very nice new hostel. It's still developing and the very dedicated staff give it everything to improve the hostel steadily. We loved the clean rooms, the chilling area with bean bags, games, TV, tea/coffee and a water dispenser. Breakfast can be pre-ordered the evening before and it was delicious. We asked and were allowed to use the kitchen and fridge for our own food as well. The laundry service was exceptional and for a good price as well. Even if it's not in the center of Mirissa it's only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Just keep in mind that the hostel is on the main road. So there could be some noise from the traffic. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff! We would definitely stay here again. :)

Brand new Hostel near Mirissa Beach and Town. Everything wonderful clean, new and the design is modern. They have aircon in the dorm and the beds are so comfortable and new. The bathrooms big, very clean and modern. I am so happy to stay here! The owner run a Family Business, is a very nice person and take care really good about his clientes. He speaks very good english. They have also a very popular Hostel in Ella. Highly recomendable 💜

I really enjoyed my staying in Downtown and really recommend the place. It was so very clean, the mattress really comfortable, curtains, plug by the bed and a light ; locker in the room, and A/C. Ever is very functional ! Bonus: an iron is available in the lobby, a detail much appreciated! Downstairs a fridge for your food, big lobby to chill, perfect to socialize. Krish was super friendly, and available to answer all my questions and helped me a lot. We even had movie nights! Coconut tree hill is very close by (5/10min top by walking), there is also a beach nearby and very good coffee shop. Downtown reachable by walking as well.

The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is the cleanest I‘ve ever seen in any of the Sri Lankan Hostels and breakfast is also super nice. They even have additional sockets in the room, so there won’t be a problem charging on of your electronics, even in a dorm room.
