Was a great little place. Nice snacks. Coffee Quaint

The outside appearance is deceiving but the inside is really great. Very friendly staff.

The owner was really nice and patient with me on the keyless entry.

Here for a work trip. Will return.

This place was outstanding. The room we stayed in is called "The Station." It is spacious with 2 comfortable beds; 2 very comfortable armchairs; a full, very well equipped kitchen; a table with 2 chairs in front of a window; and a good-size bathroom. Everything we could possibly want was provided (even a fly swatter!) Also, the location, right on the main street of town, is perfect. We walked across the street and down maybe half a block to a great place for breakfast.

Carls Cabins is a real gem - It was so comfortable, I wish we could have stayed for a week. If you have time, be sure to visit the Dakota Buttes Historical Museum on 11th Street - another rare find with a variety of very interesting displays.

Very unassuming from the outside but a historic property that is amazing on the inside. Close to the grocery store.

We were a little confused as to which room we supposed to be in but figured it out. I think they forgot to tell us.

It was quaint, historic, and very well designed to be a vintage spot.

All the historic elements of the old gas station, historic vehicles, and the decor being about the vintage muscle cars…just talking to Scott about his vintage car, and us talking about our vintage cars. Good conversations!

Zero bars or restaurants open. WiFi and TV didn’t work. No shampoo and toilet ran intermittently- definitely needs a bit of TLC although hosts were very nice in bringing extra towels.
