Casa Mary

Le gros point positif de cet hébergement est la localisation. On est vraiment au coeur de Coyoacán et on peut tout faire à pied. La chambre est bien équipée et confortable. La cuisine est propre et bien équipée pour faire de la cuisine basique sans cuisson. Enfin, Maribel a été une hôte très sympathique et réactive par message WhatsApp.

Le seul petit bémol serait la salle de bain commune qui est un peu petite et avec des wc non séparés. Heureusement qu'on ne la partageait qu'avec une autre personne et qu'on se s'est pas trop croisés.

Had a great 4-night stay at Casa Mary. The room is on the smaller side, but perfect for a solo traveler and very comfortable. The WiFi works great, and I had a desk to work at. The shared kitchen is well equipped with tea, coffee, spices & it was great to have some space available in the fridge. There’s a communal area with a shared dining table if you want to eat something at the house, but there are also plenty of great restaurants nearby - the main square is only 2 mins away (walking), less than 10 mins to the local market (which is great). Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that bothered me was a recurring noise that came from outside my window (maybe a water heater turning on?) but I think that’s beyond Casa Mary’s control and it wasn’t terrible.

La ubicación y la comodidad de la cama y habitación

I hadn't realized how perfect the location was till I got there -- right next to the square and all the activity and restaurants but just around the corner where the street was quiet and private even though Tres Cruces is a main street. The neighborhood was lovely and very walkable, just minutes from everything I wanted to see and do in Coyoacan. And the room was fabulous! The most comfortable bed I had in my Six Cities in Six Weeks tour of Mexico, the room and decor modern, tasteful and very clean, great wi-fi connection, plenty of hot water, and the softest, fluffiest towels ever. It was cold when I was there in January and February but this was the only room I had with its own heater. Even a bathrobe hanging in the closet! A great stay and a great value from a genuine sweetheart of a hostess, Maribel.
