Fabulous location, quiet area near old Palermo, modern and spotless interior, secure building with doorman, and Alessandro was a wonderful host. Our best booking.com experience ever!!

This apartment is absolutely beautiful, everything is new as it has been recently renovated, spotlessly clean. Perfect location in the centre of Palermo close to everything. Our host Alessandro was brilliant and always available with great suggestions for places to visit and recommendations for restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

We have nothing but superlatives to say about our 8-night stay in Alessandro's apartment. First, all those great comments about how kind and accommodating Alessandro is are absolutely true. When we first booked the apartment, we asked about a teapot, and Alessandro replied that he would try to provide one. Sure enough, when we arrived, he showed us a very nice glass tea carafe with a stainless steel basket for the tea. It was perfect. Later we noticed that the kitchen didn't have any good knives to prepare food, so we called him the next morning, and he said he would take care of it. That afternoon there was a beautiful set of new, very sharp knives in a nice knife rack waiting in the kitchen. Wow, we were very happy. And future guests will surely appreciate it. The spacious, clean apartment has a very good flow between the rooms. The beds are very comfortable (10/10). The apartment has a large sunporch, with a washing machine and lots of space for the large clothes-drying rack. Nice large dining table, and a comfortable couch. Very wide balcony, which could use a couple of chairs, but easy to bring some dining chairs out for a pre-dinner drink. The building is very secure, and the daytime concierge, Claudio, is very helpful. The apartment location is very convenient. There is a sizeable, well stocked grocery store (Famila Market) just a 3 minute walk north. You are a 25-35 minute walk from the historic center, where there is so much beauty to take in, in the churches, etc. We spent 4 of our 7 days just in that area! Parking looks daunting, the spaces are seemingly always taken. Yet we always found a space very close to the apartment, thanks to the guys in the street who guide you to available - usually free - spots; just remember to tip them a couple of Euros, money well spent. Also, look into the parking app "EasyPark", an absolute godsend, used extensively in Italy.

Alessandro met us on the street and settled us in and is a delightful host. This apartment is truly exceptional. It is contemporary, very well designed, and the kitchen has everything you could need. There are two bathrooms, a balcony, and the rooms are generously-sized. The location too is excellent with many shops etc nearby but not too near.

Nothing - it is perfect

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with all the necessary facilities in a nice building off main street. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Bus stops and airport shuttle are nearby.

Coffee maker is very difficult to use

No breakfast included but good cafe, restaurant supermarket and shops nearby. Location is in a quiet and classy part of Palermo, but still quite near to the Teatro Massimo where the actions are. Alessandro, the host, is extremely helpful even upto the moment we got into our taxi to the airport. Grazie mille!

This apartment is beautiful! Very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. It's very near to the city center so we could walk into the tourist bit of Palermo. The neighbourhood is quite "posh" and it feels great to walk around it. Palermo is always mentioned as "be mindful of safety", but in the area we only noticed people that were "parking boys" that were trying to make some money by helping people find parking spots, so everything felt quite safe. The host was also lovely and helped us with our checkout which, because of our flight, was at a very inconvenient hour.

Suggestion for the host: add some chairs on the balcony. it's great to sit there in the evening.
