Meraki House

The apartmant was amazing, in the middle of old town, everything (restaurants, shops, gelaterias, the see side) was super close to the apartment, in the same street you can find everything. It looks like just on the pictures! Davide was attentive, there were bottles of water, beers and biscuits for us upon arrival. We rented a scooter, lot of parking spots nearby, was like 5mins walking from the apartmant. We much recommend this place for staying in Alghero.

Great location in the middle of the old town. The apartment is fully equipped , modern and clean. The bed and the pillow are perfect, we slept very well. The water in the fridge and the morning cake were lifesavers! Forget the car, you don't need it here. In the first days, we reached the nearby places by bus, but then rented a car, which is recommended if you want to go a bit further. Thanks for everything.

Clean and comfortable apartament in very good localization.

The appartment is located in the historic city centre of Alghero, which makes it a perfect place to stay. Alghough there are many busy streets and restaurants in this part of the city, the appartment itself is placed in a very quiet street, so there are no disturbing noises or smells around. The appartment is in an old building, but it is quite modern in design, as far as the interior is concerned. It has all the necessary equipment and facilities which make your stay very convenient, even a washing machine, a dishwasher and a cordless vacuum cleaner. The air conditioning functioned very well and we had no problems with the appliances at home. The appartment is not particularly spacious, but everything is arranged in such a way that it does not make an impression of a confined space, I'd describe it as very well organised and designed. I liked the coffee machine with a supply of coffee, which is not a standard in many places. We haven't actually met the host, Davide, but he was very helpful all the time and we had contact via Whatsapp. Before our arrival we asked Davide if he could provide us with a beach umbrella, some washing liquid and fabric softener, and all that was waiting for us. Besides, upon arrival we found a welcome choice of local sweets, some cold drinks and water in the fridge.

It would be hard to find anything to complain about, and I'm sure that if guests needed anything, Davide would organise it.

The host is extremely kind. I asked him for information on several shops and restaurants and I received promt answers with useful tips. The apartment is in the old town just outside the most touristic streets, so it's very quite. Two minutes on foot to the old town walls and the sea. Less than 10 minutes on foot to the port. Several restaurants in the nearby streets. Just book at La Piccola Cucina for fantastic sea food.

Location was excellent - right in the heard of the town, with lots of shops and restaurants around. Beautiful clean apartment and all the extras that you need for a short stay.

No english channels

We didn't meet in person our host, Davide, but there couldn't have been an easier communication between us. The check-in was very easy, we got the keys from a lock box next to the door and, at the end of a very pleasant stay, we've got a very much appreciated late check-out(our flight was at 10 pm). Meraki House was like a home for us. We had everything we could have possibly needed(from coffee machine, smart tv, washing machine, hoover, iron). A highlight of our trip was going to the local market. We bought several types of fish and sepia and we prepared ourselves an amazing fish soup( we made the local recipe that we got from the fishmonger Daniele - Pescheria Ruggiu Daniele). We especially recommend Meraki House to those who like cooking as the kitchen is very well equipped. We are already dreaming of going back next year!

Everything was great! We highly appreciated that all windows had anti-insects nets, we were able to keep the windows open all the time and we didn't need the AC at all.

The location was great, 1' far away from the sea. The place is brand new, very clean and very comfortable. Davide is such a pleasant person!! I totally recommand this accomodation.
