GBFirstly the best place we have stayed. Mel had thought of everything!! Mel is a friendly host; lovely, clean room (just enough room for our 2 cases). location lovely and peaceful. Access to hot tub, sauna. BBQ, fridge/freezer. Complimentary wine and beer in little fridge. Highly recommend 2 night stay as a minimum.

NZVery clean and comfortable. The sauna was amazing. It was a very homely, Mel had added a lot of personal touches that made it special. The home baked lemon loaf slices were amazing.
FIThe views from the hot tub in the morning with the sun shining, drinking complimentary sparling wine, was a perfect way to start the day. Own entrance, terrace and access to sauna in the back of the property felt very private. The host has truly created the perfect setting for a relaxing couple’s retreat.

NZHubby & I made a last-minute decision to stay at Mels Retreat, we loved our time together in such a magical spot, we didn't realize how busy we had been until we stopped for "Air" at Mels. Everything was thought of, personal touches & gifts, "no-one really does well" anymore... but she did. The location is epic, and the amenities were amazing. The Spa and Sauna are game changers. Thank you, Mel, and to your family for sharing your piece of heaven ❤️
