Antica Isola

Everything was just perfect! The host, the location, tha room, breakfast, the bed.. extra comfy bed, sea view from our balcony, we were speachless. Perfect stay for couple or family.

There is not a single thing to complain about.

The accommodation and property were absolutely beautiful, typical Sardinian style very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the ensuite was perfect. The view from our room and the roof terrace was breathtaking. Giulia and her family are very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of information about the local area and further places of interest around the island to visit. However, it would be preferable to hire a car to visit these places from Pittilongu. The property is within walking distance of 5 beautiful beaches if you are fit and mobile on your feet. There is also a lovely scenic coastal walk approx 4-5 km from the end of Lo Squallo beach, which is well worth trying. Breakfast was lovely and varied each day. Giulia asked us what foods we liked at breakfast and accommodated everyone. Antico Isola is a beautiful little jewel from which you can base yourself and explore either locally or further afield depending on your holiday preference.

The accommodation, in our opinion, would have benefited from having supplied a T.V. in the room. Apart from a few nice restaurants, it is an extremely quiet area with very limited nite-life and while Oblia is a short bus ride away, the bus service during May was limited and the last bus back to Pittilongu from Oblia left at 18:55. A taxi would cost around €20-€25.

Lovely building with super views. Very peaceful area with good beaches and restaurants close by. Good bus service. Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful.

We love walking so we're happy to walk or bus everywhere but some may want to hire a car.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view on the top. The family are very kind, and the wife, daughter and the husband really generous and kindness family😊 They welcome you with the Beautiful smiles 😊 Great breakfast and even if you ask for something else, the wife always deliver the next day, no problem!

Nothing to say, everything was excellent 👌

The country view from the balcony, free parking, the pizza from nearby restaurant, owner provided us with soap for bathroom and cheese & salami for breakfast after our request, otherwise the breakfast is entirely sweet.

Far away from the beach, old furniture, no place for luggage, small TV with the sound not working, superficial cleaning every other day, green house effect in the breakfast room, coffee capsules.

The hosts are SO lovely, helpful in letting us know about the area, and even lent us an umbrella for the beach. Love the view from the rooftop.too
