Villa Marina

Great place for large family (2 adults and 3 kids). Close to pizzeria, grocery, ice cream parlour and sandy beach. The host prepared a how-to guide about the area so that you can't get lost. About 60 minutes away from Rome with the use of public transport (Bus 07 and Roma Lido train) hence we left the car at the house.

Villa Marina was a very cozy house and very equipped to the smallest details my family loved it. The hosts are very nice, helpful and great communication.

Amazing hosts. Live close to the property. We had several non-standard situations (not related to property), they always helped us. The property itself if spacious and safe. It has its own private car park near the house inside the (pretty small for a large SUV, but still manageable to park). All windows have metal bars. Not far from the beach. Some ok-ish restaurants and a supermarket are nearby. 20 min drive to the outskirts of Rome, where you can catch the metro (HOWEVER CHECK FOR GOOGLE REVIEWS on Rome parkings, SOME PARKINGS NEAR THE METRO ARE VISITED BY ROBBERS)

The neighbourhood is pretty isolated. On weekdays you can catch Cotral bus (however not always on schedule) in 2 minutes walk. No buses on Sundays though (at least the local guys told us this). No taxis roaming and Uber is very expensive, so you'd better have your own wheels.

Bog spacious house for 4 family members

Almost non working Wi Fi, I had to set an online meeting and it failed because of slowly working wi fi. It’s mobile internet and you can’t even view Instagram. Old bed and bad air conditioner- it switches the temperature every 10 minutes and beeps at night and lights the room, what makes you wake up and sleep unwell. Neighbour has 2 big dogs which bark all the time, seems like you live in the zoo. Also, not quiet and impossible to hold online meeting outside the house. Dirty city- trash is everywhere 🥵

The villa is very nice, modern and well equipped. Especially good was to have air-conditioning in both bedrooms, not just in one. The inner yard is very cozy, full of different plants, with an extra shower. The owners are very friendly and helpful (answer all requests right away and try their best to make your stay enjoyable). Some 10 min walk to the wide sandy beach and very warm sea (in the beginning of August). Close to the Rome center (we drove by car to the Laurentina station and took subway from there directly to the city center, all takes 40 min) and the airport.

There are many dogs in the village, which are barking in the evenings quite loudly. The village itself looks shabby and not very clean, the roads - like after a war.
