Villa Kelana

I stayed this villa once before, and I enjoyed the repeated stay. I was able to refresh and it would be nice to stay once more.

Good location, house was clean.

I think it’s a fairly new property .. It’s a big house - with very little furniture. It looks very empty and it didn’t feel very comfortable. I think it should have some more furniture and a few decor items to make it feel more “home”. It’s quite pricy for what you get.

The caretakers Nyoman and his wife (I'm sorry i missed her name) were very helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Nyoman is a well known tour guide in the area - i did the walking tour of the rice fields with him and it was very interesting. They run a little shop at the front of the property and give you their number out of hours so there is someone there for safety and for any advice you need but otherwise the place is very private.

There is no breakfast and the nearby warungs open around 10 am so if you are an early riser make sure you have coffee and other provisions.

I've had a nice, quiet relaxing time thanks to its private villa. The contrast of Mt. Agung and the garden that you can see from the kitchen were astonishing. The beds and bathroom were also hygienic and clean. There were also a place you can buy daily necessities near by. The internet connection were solid it helped with my work. And addition to that there was a washing machine as well. I would like for another long stay.
