Villa Thorse

Danke für den freundlichen Empfang. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es ist alles vorhanden um einen schönen Urlaub zu genießen.

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location that has been carefully designed to maximise the views of the Oslo Fjord from the main living area. The villa was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a very good shower. Ellen, the host was friendly and welcoming, providing timely communications. Thoughtful extras like fresh flowers and a Norwegian cookbook were appreciated. We would highly recommend this property and would be very happy to return if travelling to the area again.

We didn't have any concerns in relation to the centrally located property that provides a free parking space. However, with the prominence of EV's in Norway a charging point would be beneficial to visitors. This is purely a constructive suggestion, rather than a complaint because there are many public charging points available, but one at the property would provide added convenience.

Beliggenhet Alt vi trengte. God og luftig leilighet. Flere ville vi skulle bli lengre. Men hverdagen kaller, noen skulle jobbe.

Kunne vært en enkel vannkoker der. Vi tar livet enkelt når vi er på ferie. Lett å få hjelp av husverten.

Tolle ruhige Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor der Unterkunft. Einfaches Einchecken und nette Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Einfach super!!!

Sehr hübsche, saubere und komfortable Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Selbst Fußbodenheizung in Bad und Wohnbereich, eine funktionstüchtige Klimaanlage, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, viel Liebe zum Detail, gepflegt und ansprechend. Besonders gefallen hat uns aber, dass der Vermieter sofort auf kleine Probleme reagiert hat und diese auch lösen konnte. Der Ausblick von der hübschen und einladenden Dachterrasse auf den Fjord ist auch besonders schön.

We loved everything about Villa Thorse! The location, neighbourhood, beds, kitchen - everything! I cannot even begin to describe the views and the location of this place. There were six of us and the villa was perfect for us. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sofa/bed for kids was downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot, but that's because we were there when it was five days of hot sun - in the middle of summer. Won't complain though, the weather was perfect for long walks around Drøbak. Oslo was close with a car and there was a ferry going to the near Oscarsborg fortress/museum island every hour from dusk till dawn. We were supposed to stay only a couple of nights at first, but decided to extend the visit to a week (before arriving). Best choice I've ever made :) There were so much to see and do, the week felt way too short. Never felt so sad to leave a place. Thank you for everything, Ellen, We WILL be back! :))

Only thing we didn't like was the fact we had to leave eventually :(

We were there for one day, but we want to stay longer. (But we have to go). The house is very cozy. It has everything you need for life. Convenient parking. What impressed us the most was the view. It's something incredible.
